Pakistani Military didn't responded to US Attack, because they were observing 'May Day'

DG ISPR Major General Athar Abbas has said that "Pakistan army wasn't able to respond US Attack in Abbotabad, because military was observing 'May Day'. May first was on Saturday, which meant that our hard working officers and troops were on a long weekend, and couldn't make it in time to reach the incident place". He further said "Pakistan army works through out the year day and night, and its their right to have a rest day".

Moreover, General Abbas condemned the US strike and said "Look this is a clear deviation from international labor laws. United States must honors the Chicago Martyrs Day and restrain herself from aggression on that day".
