After a complete silence for couple of days, ISPR has published a press release, which acknowledges that Osama Bin Laden was performing guard duty at Pakistan Military Academy Kakul.
It is further stated that "Pakistan Army decided to hire Bin Laden for security because they felt that if you can't protect your assets from thieves then you must hire them for policing. Same applies here because Army was under continuous attacks from Al-Qaeda, therefore Al-Qaeda chief Osama Bin Laden was hired to neutralize that threat. This tactic helped a great deal in countering terrorism".
