Bin Laden was a "Biblical Scholar"

Slain Al-Qaeda Chief Osama bin Laden was actually a "Biblical Scholar", and multiple volumes of Bible were found from Bin Laden's hideout in Abbottabad.

According to Pakistan Army Officials, the Bible Copies were in the English Language and had certain lines of text highlighted, as if someone highlighted it for study purpose.

Osama bin Laden's hideout has been under the control of Security Forces and Police since Operation Geronimo. However, Bulldozers on 27th February finished Demolishing the Hideout and only the wall of the compound remain intact, surrounding the debris of the triple-storey building.

Messbah messes it again

The Legendary Messbah (Misbah-ul-Haq), the Pakistan Cricket Captain has yet again messed up a winning opportunity in a T20 Series Decider played between Pakistan and England in Abu Dhabi.

A perplexing outcome was made more painful by the familiar sight of Misbah-ul-Haq "Messing another Run Chase". He wasn't the only culpable player although he was the most visible.

As often, in Limited-Overs Cricket that Misbah strikes the Wrong Chord, out of tune with the match situation, a virtuoso playing to the wrong beat.

PTI leave the Polls - Tsunami in Real Trouble

By-Polls Results on seats mostly vacated by New Joiners in Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf have stunned many Political Analysts, as the Turn-Out remained positive in most of the constituencies, despite calls for "Boycott of Polls" by PTI. It also provided opportunity to the ruling parties to strengthen their strangle hold on the Vacated Seats.

Earlier, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf has called on the public to "Boycott Polls" on seats as long as  they are held on "Old Electoral Rolls". However, the people turned in reasonable numbers and polled their votes in favor of  "Status Quo" and all ruling parties won in their "Strong Holds" Fairly Convincingly.

Alarm-Bells started to ring for PTI in Multan, where in NA-148 Ali Musa Gilani, Son of Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani, got Record 93,345 Votes, that are more than what Shah Mahmood Qureshi has ever achieved? Also, Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) has reclaimed the seat vacated by Makhdoom Javed Hashmi in NA-149 Multan, as their candidate Sheikh Tariq Rashid won By-Polls with 38,176 Votes.

Moreover, Awami National Party’s Himayatullah Mayar took NA-09 from Mardan. Mayar won with 30,266 Votes. The seat was vacated by Khwaja Muhammad Khan Hoti, after he joined PTI.

In Rahim Yar Khan, Pakistan Muslim League (Functional)'s Makhdoom Mustafa Mahmood swept through NA-195 by bagging 81,745 Votes. This is Mahmood's "Familiy Seat", which they gifted to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf's new joiner Jahangir Tareen in the past, but now Tareen has been asked not to contest from NA-195 again.

The Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) has also claimed the Punjab Assembly seat of offer, as Malik Adil Abdullah Rokhri and Malik Azam Ghaiba snapped up PP-44 from Mianwali and PP-18 from (Pindi Ghaib) Attock, respectively. Rokhri won by securing 45,670 Votes, and Ghaiba led the race in Pindi Ghaib with 46, 976 Votes.

Of the six National Assembly seats on offer, Pakistan Peoples Party won two, Pakistan Mulsim League (Nawaz) two, Awami National Party one and Pakistan Muslim Legaue-Functional one. Of the four Provincial Seats on offer, PML (N) won the two contested in Punjab and PPP won the two contested in Sindh.

But it is pertinent to note that, PTI Tsunami might have dealt themselves a "Telling Blow" by Boycotting the By-Polls, i.e. something, similar to what PPP experienced in 1984 General Elections.

Imran wants say in Care Taker Appointment

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf  Chairman Imran Khan wants to have a say in the Appointments of Care Taker Governments at the National and Provincial Levels, as he sees it the only option to have Free & Fair Elections.

Imran Khan criticized the Election Commission of Pakistan’s right to choose Care Taker Prime Minister and Chief Minister, and said the Election Commissions are meant to maintain a check over Governments during Elections and to ensure Non-Interference and Neutrality.

"If Election Commission of Pakistan appoints a Care Taker Government, it will divest itself from performing the task of ensuring Free, Fair and Transparent Elections. Therefore, the right to appoint Care Taker Government shall be given back to the Politicians, who are actually contesting the Polls." Imran Khan said.

Calling the Twentieth Amendment a Fraud and Violation of the Constitution and Democratic Principles, Imran said the Amendment condones Elections carried out against the Provisions of the Constitution, and questioned how could you hold a Free, Fair and Transparent Election without considering Parties outside the Parliament (Although, PTI Leader Awais Leghari is still a Member of National Assembly)?

Nawab Bugti was killed by Balach Marri : Baluch Youth Council

Chairman Baluch Youth Council, Mir Hazar Khan Baluch has said "So Called" Baluch Separatist Leaders Balach Marri and his brother Herbyar Marri are involved in the killing of Nawab Akbar Khan Bugti and Justice Muhammad Nawaz Marri, two most prominent Baluch personalities killed in recent years.

Is a statement Mir Hazar Khan Baluch announced that the Council would move a Petition in International Court of Justice against the Herbyar Marri for murder of Justice Muhammad Nawaz Marri and bloodshed of innocent Baluchis and Punjabis.

Addressing a meeting of the Central Council of Baluch Youth, Chairman Mir Hazar Khan Baluch further uncovered that "A Senior Indian Diplomat had recently facilitated a meeting between Herbyar Marri and Barahamdagh Bugti to remove their misunderstanding over the killing of Nawab Akbar Bugti and counter killing of Balach Marri".

Baluch said during the meeting, Barahmdagh Bugti alleged that the person behind taking his Grand Father late Nawab Akbar Bugti to the cave was Balach Marri, brother of Herbyar Marri. He said the cave came down due to a Blast by Remote Control and Balach Marri was standing just outside the cave art the time.

Baluch said an Officer of Indian Intelligence Agency RAW was also present in the meeting between the two Rebel Leaders.

He said the Indian Diplomat and Intelligence Officers persuaded both Baluch Leaders to reach an understanding for a bigger cause and according to their information, Herbyar wanted "Full Independence to form a Government in Exile" to which Baramdagh did not agree, because he claimed that he was an International Leader.

Baluch added that the two Self-Styled Baluch Leaders, were RAW Agents and were Fighting the War for their survival at the cost of the Baluch Nation.

The Baluch Youth Council Chairman also lashed out at Sardar Akhtar Mengal and said his Militant Group Laskhar-e-Baluchistan was involved in the massacre of innocent people in Khuzdar District and looting of buses on National Highway.

He noted that Baluch People will never forget killing of twenty thousands (20,000) Innocent People during a personal clash of Attaullah Mengal and a Bugti Sardar.

He said that Baluch Sardars were fond of telling lies but they could not continue with it, adding that the Sardars were rubbing salt into the wounds of Baluch People.

"How come they bring change as they all are Usurpers," he remarked and said that the Baluch Nation was aware of Sardars' Character.

US Congress refused Resolution for Native Americans

The US Congress is very quick to pass Resolutions pointing out towards Human Rights Violations by other Governments.  However, its turns its eyes when it comes to passing Resolution for the Rights of Native Americans, i.e. Red Indians, the real residents of America.

The Native American Tribes are asking President Barack Hussain Obama to protect the Rights of Native Americans and express Apology to the Native Americans.

Native American Apology Resolution was originated in US Congress and had passed the Senate as Stand-alone Legislation in the fall.

Senator Sam Brownback, R-Kan., originally introduced the measure intending "To Officially Apologize for the past ill-conceived policies by the US Government toward the Native Peoples of this land and re-affirm our commitment toward healing our nation’s wounds and working toward establishing better relationships rooted in reconciliation." His bill passed the Senate in 2008 and 2009.

However, the version signed by Obama became watered down, not making a Direct Apology from the Government, but rather apologizing "On behalf of the People of the United States to all Native Peoples for the many instances of violence, maltreatment, and neglect inflicted on Native Peoples by Citizens of the United States."

The resolution also includes a "Disclaimer: Nothing in it authorizes or supports any Legal Claims against the United States, and the resolution does not settle any Claims."

At the White House Tribal Nations Conference, Obama noted, among other observations, that treaties were violated with tribes and injustices had been done against them, but he did not offer an Explicit Apology.

Native Americans are concerned over the fate of the Resolution and Robert T. Coulter, Executive Director of the Indian Law Resource Center, said there has been an "Overwhelming Silence" regarding the Resolution.

"There were no public announcements, there were no press conferences, there was no national attention, much less international," said the Citizen Potawatomi Nation member.

"You might think that something would be announced, that something would be said about it. After all, they’re apologizing to Native Americans, and yet, I don’t know that people have really heard about it.

"What kind of an apology is it when they don’t tell the people they are apologizing to? For an apology to have any meaning at all, you do have to tell the people you’re apologizing to.

"I have had my doubts on whether this is a true or meaningful apology, and this silence seems to speak very loudly on that point."

Still, Coulter said the resolution doesn’t have any legal meaning, no matter if Obama and Congress members say it out loud or not.

No matter the Politics of the Situation, some tribes have already inserted their histories into the Congressional Record, and plan to bring that record, coupled with the Resolution, to state and local leaders, using the documents to remind and educate them on tribes’ historical presence and sovereign status.

Pakistan Perfectly Cooked in the Desert

England Cricket Team under the command of Captain Cook has "Perfectly Cooked" their rivals, i.e. the Pakistan Team, in the Desert of Arabia. England now hold an unassailable 3-0 Lead with one match to play and a nine-wicket victory with more than a dozen overs remaining, fashioned by an opening stand between Cook and Pietersen of 170, could hardly have been more emphatic.

Whitewashed in the Test series against Pakistan, they will now be bent upon returning the favor in the Final Match in the same stadium after a couple of days.

Cook's only regret will be that he narrowly failed to become the first England Batsman to make Hundreds in Three Consecutive ODIs. He had reached eighty (80) when he pushed gently forward at the off-spin of Saeed Ajmal and gave Adnan Akmal a faint Catch. Cook had again been in unruffled form, his cut shot more to the fore than it had been in Abu Dhabi on a quicker batting surface, but his exit cleared the way for Pietersen to claim the limelight.

The Baluch Insurgency

The Baluch Insurgency, although an ongoing movement, dates back exactly to the days of Pakistan’s Independence and subsequent accession of Baluchistan, issues range from more autonomy, more royalties and in some case to secession. Recently, Militants have also clashed with the Iran over its respective Baluch Region, which borders Pakistan.

On 12th August, 1947, i.e. a couple of days before Pakistan was Founded, New York Times published the news "An announcement from New Delhi said that Kalat, Muslim State in Baluchistan, had reached an agreement with Pakistan (Should be British India, as Pakistan was not Founded till then) for free flow of communications and commerce, and would negotiate for decisions on defense, external affairs and communications. Under the agreement, Pakistan (Although not Founded till then) recognizes Kalat as an Independent Sovereign State with a status different from that of Indian States."

So was the state of affairs before Pakistan’s Independence, i.e. although rather strangely. However, soon Khan of Kalat Ahmed Yar Khan was asked to formally accede to Pakistan. Khan's initial response was negative, and the Local Tribal Heads and Chieftains unanimously resounded the same sentiment.

Later on, Khan of Kalat Ahmed Yar Khan was pressurized to sign the Instrument of Accession (As Khan noted later in his Autobiography).

However, Khan’s Brother Prince Abdul Karim Khan took to mountains, refusing to accept the decision, and the Pakistan Army had to subdue insurgents based in Kalat. Moreover, since the accession, four more popular Armed Uprisings have occurred in the province, most of them dealt with by Army and consequently crushed.

In 2005, the Baluch Political Leaders Nawab Akbar Khan Bugti and Mir Balach Marri presented a fifteen-point agenda to the Pakistan Government. Their stated demands included greater control of the province's resources and a Moratorium on the construction of Military Bases.

In August 2006, Nawab Akbar Khan Bugti, 79 years old, was killed in fighting with the Pakistan Army. He was charged by Pakistan's Government of a series of bomb blasts, killings of the people he professed to protect and the rocket attack on the President Pervez Musharraf.

On 12th August, 2009, Self Appointed Khan of Kalat Mir Suleiman Dawood, declared himself Ruler of Baluchistan and formally made announcement of a Council for Independent Baluchistan. The Council's claimed domain includes "Baluchistan of Iran", as well as Pakistani Baluchistan, but does not include Afghan Baluch regions, and the Council contains "All Separatist Leaders including Nawabzada Bramdagh Bugti".

It is worth noted that the strongholds of Baluch Insurgency, that are Dera Bugti and Kohlu have never been part of any Baluch State of the past. However, Irani Province of Baluchistan & Sistan has historically been part of the Baluch State until 1849 AD.

Apart from the violent dimension, there is also a political dimension of the insurgency. Baluchistan is Pakistan’s largest province comprising approximately forth-three (43) per cent of the total land area. It is rich in a number of valuable minerals including vast copper and natural gas deposits. However, the sad fact is that, alike the Potwar Region in Punjab, while the entire country benefits from these resources, the locals themselves are handed a meager Royalty for them and nothing else. Natural Gas deposits were discovered in Baluchistan in 1953. Household and Commercial Gas was supplied to rest of Pakistan from this source since as far back as 1964. But royalties were offered to Quetta only in 1980 (The amount of this paid Royalty has not increased ever since) and it was connected with a gas supply in 1986, just because gas needed to be supplied to Quetta Cantonment. And today, out of Baluchistan’s twenty-six (26) districts, only four (4) are supplied with gas.

It is this Social Inequality that has fiercely triggered the sense of deprivation among Baluchis. Even the Provincial Governments have been severely inhibited in their efforts to improve conditions because of the fact that Islamabad takes direct decisions over Policies Governing the Province.

In the past, a number of Nationalist Leaders have been elected to the Parliament. Nawab Akbar Bugti had served both as the Governor and the Chief Minister of the Province. Ataullah Mengal and Akhtar Mengal also headed the Provincial Government in the Capacity of being Chief Ministers. Nonetheless, all these unromantic partenerships with the center ended abruptly with the center wielding it’s power by disregarding these nationalist office-holders and their reservations. To cite an instance, Nawab Akbar Bugti resigned after his disagreements with the Federal Government at the latter’s decision to launch a Military Operation in Baluchistan.

Moreover, the Army has become an integral part of the Baluchistan equation since the very start. It has gradually moved from a partial, distant control of the region to a more organized control, replacing the Levies Forces and bringing a very large part under it’s reign. In local culture, it has become synonymous with extra-judicial abductions, killings and missing persons.

Naturally, this has resulted in a very hostile reaction from Baluchis who view Army Garrisons as a sign of encroachment on their Nationalism. To them, all Army activities in the region are a version of State Terrorism.

Despite all this, the mainstream Nationalist Leaders are still ready to engage in dialogue only if they’re assured that the terms agreed upon at the occasion of accession shall be honored. These include much more Provincial Autonomy and Provincial Say in regional affairs.

When talking of Terrorism in Baluchistan, Balochistan Liberation Army is not a name to be missed. BLA has been increasingly violent in recent years. And allegedly killing scores of Punjabis or anyone having the slightest to do with Punjab.

Baluchistan today seems to move towards a destiny similar to Bengal (East Pakistan). However, with the fragmented resistance put up by Baluchis, it’s a long way before they can claim power enough for a successful Armed Struggle.

NAB initiates probe against PTI Scrutiny Committee Member

A Senior Member of Pakistan Tehreek-Insaf Scrutiny Committee in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Malik Naveed Khan has tasted his own medicine as he came under Scrutiny of National Accountability Bureau.

Imran hugs MQM

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan has hugged Leaders of Mutahida Qaumi Movement at wedding of PTI Leader Arif Alwi’s daughter in Karachi and also received the warm wishes sent by MQM Quaid Altaf Hussain. Imran Khan also informed MQM Leaders that he has successfully controlled the Lions (Pakistan Muslim League - Nawaz) in Punjab and hinted an Alliance in Next Elections.

The move seemed a continuity of Imran-Altaf Affair, that started a year ago when the two rival Political Leaders decided to bury the hatchet (along with the Inquiry of 12th May Killings and the Scotland Yard Investigations) and have vowed to work together.

There had been reports of Imran Khan started showing soft corner for MQM after meeting with the American Ambassador Cameron Munter last year.

As new details are coming to light, few will believe the depths being plumbed by some in our media and politics. Asia Times Online wrote:

"In the second week of March, Imran Khan held a long meeting with the US Ambassador in Islamabad, Cameron Munter. A few days later a major shift in his politics surprised many. Imran Khan produced a statement supportive of MQM Policies despite formerly filing a Money Laundering Case against MQM Leader Altaf Hussain in a British Court".

Moreover, Senator Pervaiz Rasheed of Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz), said that the Match had been Fixed long ago between the Mutahida Qaumi Movement and Tehreek-e-Insaf and the public meeting of 25th December in Karachi was also a fixed one. He said the warm meeting between the Leadership of the MQM and Imran Khan in Karachi had totally exposed them as Imran assured the MQM in the meeting that he had controlled the "Lions." He said shaking hands with the MQM was another "U-Turn" of Imran, adding that the people remembered that the PTI Chief had been terming the MQM responsible for target killing, corpses in bags, no-go areas, torture cells and extortion in Karachi. He said Imran had also been fixing the responsibility of fifty (50) deaths in the Massacre of 12th May in Karachi and after that he had gone to London to file a Suit against Altaf Hussain. Pervaiz Rasheed said the entire politics of Imran revolved around opportunism and unprincipled politics. He said the claimants of change had gathered around him the old guards of "Status Quo".

Indicted PM refuses to Resign

Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani was charged with Contempt by the Supreme Court of Pakistan, pleading not guilty to charges that could see him Disqualified from Office if convicted. And despite losing Moral Justification to continue at his office, Prime Minister Gilani refused to resign.

The Supreme Court summoned Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani to explain his refusal to ask Switzerland to reopen Graft Cases against President Asif Ali Zardari.

The Government has always argued that, as head of state, Zardari enjoys Immunity from Office and has therefore refused Court demands to write to the Swiss Authorities to reopen the longstanding Cases. Explaining his refusal, Gilani spoke of his respect for the Judiciary but did not immediately tender an apology or waver from his position. "I have come today to show my respect to this Court," Gilani told a Seven-Judge Bench. "It will not give a good message to proceed against a President who is elected by a two-thirds majority."

"There is complete immunity for head of states everywhere," Gilani stressed again.

Analysts say Gilani, who was accompanied by Senior Cabinet Ministers and Leaders of Allied Political Parties, has to resign or find a way of satisfying the Court Order if he wants to keep his job.

However, Prime Minister Gilani and Pakistan Peoples Party have decided in principle that the Government will not write a Letter to Swiss Authorities come what may?

What is more disappointing is the timid reaction by opposition leaders, like Nawaz Sharif and Imran Khan? None of these so called Pakistani Leaders has mobilized masses for a just demand of Prime Minister Gilani's resignation.

PTI hints at moving to Court against Laptop Scheme

Imran Khan's Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf has hinted to move to Court against Punjab Government's Laptop Scheme as the party considers the Laptop Scheme as Pre-Poll Rigging.

Imran Khan thought the youngsters like him more than those Laptops and stressed youth "Not to take Laptops seriously, and only consider PTI for their vote".

Moreover, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Central Secretary Information Shafqat Mehmood alleged that the Provincial Government was utilizing the Taxpayers’ Money for an Early Election Campaign claimed that applications for getting the Laptops were sought through the SMS Number (80011) in use of the Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) for its Membership Campaign.

PTI Central Spokesman expressed the fear that the parties ruling the federation and provinces would Dole out State Funds in the forthcoming elections to win over voters.

He said that PTI would move to the Higher Courts to stop Pre-Poll Rigging and to put in place a Caretaker Government of National Consensus.

Aviation Fuel gets Cheap, NATO Supplies resumed through Air

US Ambassador to Pakistan Cameron Munter has said that Aviation Fuel has got cheaper than Diesel Fuel and as a result NATO Supplies have resumed through Pakistani Airspace.

When asked if it were true that despite the blockade of road routes for NATO Supplies for Forces stationed in Afghanistan, Pakistan’s Airspace was being used to provide for them, Munter acknowledged and said, "You are right".

The NATO Supply Routes were blocked following outrage in Pakistan after the 26th November Salala Outpost Attack, in which twenty-six (26) Pakistani Soldiers raised Martyrdom in NATO Shelling. The US was also made to vacate Shamsi Airbase, which was being used for Drone Strikes in Pakistan.

Legality of Ajmal's Action

Pakistani Offspinner Saeed Ajmal has sparked confusion over the Legitimacy of his Bowling Action due to a combination of language difficulties and scientific misunderstanding.

Saeed Ajmal, the Chief Destroyer in the famous 3-0 Whitewash upon England in the Test Series in the United Arab Emirates, sparked confusion in the aftermath of the Third Test by appearing to suggest that the ICC had given him special dispensation to straighten his arm beyond the fifteen (15) Degree Tolerance Range.

However, Saeed Ajmal's Action is well within the ICC Range of Tolerance. While he does bowl with a bend in his arm, it does not straighten more, on average, than about eight degrees.

The figure of 23.5 Degrees mentioned by Ajmal is the average angle of his arm at the beginning of delivery.

The ICC put Ajmal, along with other bowlers, under constant scrutiny and evidence suggests that there has been no significant deterioration in Ajmal's action since he was tested in 2009.

Contrary to widespread belief, Ajmal's Off-Break and Quicker Ball actually cause his arm to straighten more - though only a fraction more - than his much-debated Doosra.

Moreover, the accident to which Ajmal referred took place on a bus while he was on Pakistan Duty. The ICC suspect, however, that the unusually high elbow abduction - the angle at which the forearm leads from the elbow - has been with him from birth.

Doctors of Death suspended by Supreme Court

The famous Doctors of Death, Finance Minister Dr Abdul Hafeez Sheikh and Petroleum Minister Dr Asim Hussain, along with twenty-eight (28) other Members of Senate, National Assembly and Provincial Assemblies have been suspended by the Supreme Court of Pakistan.

The Supreme Court ordered the suspension of all those Legislators who were elected in By-Polls conducted by an Election Commission without meeting the criteria of the Eighteenth (18th) Amendment.

However, the Government changed the status of two key Cabinet Ministers affected by the order, including Finance Minister Dr Abdul Hafeez Sheikh and Petroleum Minister Dr Asim Hussain, to Adviser & Assistant.

Both Ministers were known as Doctors of Death, for playing role of Death Executioners by their deadly policies.

"We are disappointed; these members should have refused perks and privileges themselves when the parliament is yet to legitimise their election," observed a special bench comprising Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry, Justice Khilji Arif Hussain, Justice Tariq Parvez and Justice Sarmad Jalal Usmani.

Top Ranked England Dusted in the Desert of Arabia

The England Cricket Team has been Dusted in the Desert by Pakistan, as Pakistan duly completed their first Clean Sweep against England in a Test Series at United Arab Emirates. An extraordinary achievement for a side with no home to call its own, a side that lives out of a suitcase and does it rather well. Along with the socks and the toothpaste they certainly unpacked quite a shock for the Top Ranked Side, England.

After the hefty series loss, England's Captain, Andrew Strauss description, as "The Final Frontier," has proved as Unconquerable as ever.

The Sunny Disposition of Saeed Ajmal, the Man of the Series, and the Stiff-Limbed Tenacity of Abdur Rehman dusted England to the end. They shared forty-three (43) wickets between them in a Three-Test Series and England barely played a shot in anger.

Aitzaz on verge of losing another Premier's Case

Senior Advocate of Supreme Court of Pakistan, Barrister Atizaz Ahsan is all set to lose another Prime Minister's Case in his otherwise bright Legal Career. Atizaz has counseled Former Premiers Benazir Bhutto and Mian Nawaz Sharif in lost Cases, and now Atizaz is on the verge of losing another Case while defending Prime Minister of Pakistan Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani in Contempt of Court Case.

Indeed, a Legal Record!

In the Contempt of Court Case against Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani, the Supreme Court concluded its preliminary hearings and has decided it has sufficient cause to indict Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani and frame Contempt of Court Charges against him.

"After the preliminary hearing, we are satisfied that Prima Facie there is enough grounds for further proceedings," the Supreme Court stated.

Earlier, Atizaz has lost Cases of Former Primer Minister Benazir Butto in 1990 and 1996 against the Dismissal of her Government by President Ghulam Ishaq Khan and Sardar Farooq Khan Leghari respectively.

Having previously lost Cases in defense of Benazir Bhutto, in 2001 Atizaz lost Case in defense of Former Prime Minister Mian Nawaz Sharif.
