Aitzaz on verge of losing another Premier's Case

Senior Advocate of Supreme Court of Pakistan, Barrister Atizaz Ahsan is all set to lose another Prime Minister's Case in his otherwise bright Legal Career. Atizaz has counseled Former Premiers Benazir Bhutto and Mian Nawaz Sharif in lost Cases, and now Atizaz is on the verge of losing another Case while defending Prime Minister of Pakistan Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani in Contempt of Court Case.

Indeed, a Legal Record!

In the Contempt of Court Case against Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani, the Supreme Court concluded its preliminary hearings and has decided it has sufficient cause to indict Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani and frame Contempt of Court Charges against him.

"After the preliminary hearing, we are satisfied that Prima Facie there is enough grounds for further proceedings," the Supreme Court stated.

Earlier, Atizaz has lost Cases of Former Primer Minister Benazir Butto in 1990 and 1996 against the Dismissal of her Government by President Ghulam Ishaq Khan and Sardar Farooq Khan Leghari respectively.

Having previously lost Cases in defense of Benazir Bhutto, in 2001 Atizaz lost Case in defense of Former Prime Minister Mian Nawaz Sharif.
