"Hashim Amla scored his Triple Hundred while Fasting", this is the talk of the town these days.
However, the reality is that Hashim Amla became the First South African to score a Test match Triple Century, when he scored 311 not out against England at The Oval in 2012, during which he refrained from fasting in the Muslim month of Ramadan for the first time: "Because I'm travelling away from home I don't have to Fast," he said. "So I haven't been fasting. But I will make it up when I get home."
