Sindh Education Minister Pir Mazharul Haq has said that he is doing research in dance education, as he wants to introduce this subject in the schools and colleges of Sindh.
Earlier, during the budget discussion in Sindh Assembly, MPA Marvi Rashdi criticized the Education Minister, which, according to her, have failed to deliver. “How can people get better education when the minister of that department is watching dance videos of Indian actresses on his iPad during the budget session?” she said.

When Rashdi finished her ‘budget speech’, Pir Mazharul Haq stood up. “It is very unfortunate that people who have been elected are not even aware of modern requirements in education and the value of watching Indian dance in creating a soft image of Pakistan. Such children must not be allowed to enter the assembly,” he said in a scathing rebuttal.
He further said "I am doing research in dance education as I want to introduce this subject in the schools and colleges of Sindh. I feel that watching Katrina Kaif or Farah Khan dance really refreshes the soul."
