The Prominent Lawyer and Senior Vice President Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Hamid Khan has defended his client, and said Bahria Town Chairman Malik Riaz Hussain is clean, as he has never been in the Government. Therefore, he cannot be held accountable for Corruption.
Defending his client, Advocate Hamid Khan said "Malik Riaz Hussain is clean, as he has never been in the Government. Therefore, he cannot be held accountable for Corruption, because it is not possible to loot public money without being in Government".
Hamid Khan has counciled in several cases before the courts for Bahria Town. Several Senior PTI Leaders used to criticise Hamid Khan for his paid services for Bahria Town and it turned severe after the details of an alleged deal between Malik Riaz and Chief Justice Iftikhar Chaudhry’s son Dr Arsalan surfaced. The political opponents especially of Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) Legislators were also criticising at every forum, the professional association of Hamid Khan with Malik Riaz Hussain.
Further, Hamid Khan defended his association and said, "I am a thorough professional and my political affiliation has nothing to do with my profession. In future I would keep taking up the cases of Bahria Town if I found them Genuine".
He said that he was appearing before the courts in several cases of Bahria Town for the past over two years.
