Kash Main Tera Beta Na Hota (کاش میں تیرا بیٹا نہ ہوتا) said Dr Arsalan Iftikhar, as he submitted his initial statement in the Supreme Court of Pakistan in the Alleged Graft Case from Real Estate Tycoon and Bahria Town Chief Malik Riaz.
In his statement, Arsalan repented his fortunes by saying that he wished he was not the son of Chief Justice Supreme Court Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry. He also rejected all the accusations against him by the media and said that he did not meet with Malik Riaz’s son-in-law for any Business Deal.
It is pertinent to mention that the Chief Justice Supreme Court had taken a Suo Moto Notice after reports circulated in the electronic and social media about Arsalan Iftikhar allegedly receiving multi-millions of rupees from the Bahria Town Management under different pretexts in order to influence the Supreme Court in favor of Bahria Town Cases pending with the apex court.
It was reported that Malik Riaz paid up to four hundred (400) million to Dr Arsalan and also sponsored his Foreign Visits.
