Altaf Hussain quits MQM


Mutahida Qaumi Movement Quaid, Altaf Hussain has announced to relinquish the Party Leadership.

Terming a recently conducted raid on his house in London as a disgrace to his reputation, MQM Leader, Altaf Hussain, has announced to voluntarily relinquish the party leadership henceforth.

"Metropolitan Police raided my house. When the home of a person, who also happens to be the political leader of millions of people, is subjected to a raid by law enforcing agencies, then it becomes imperative for him to step down on moral grounds", said Altaf Hussain.

He said he was renouncing the Leadership of his Party since New Scotland Yard ransacked his house in North West London and confiscated many items/documents in connection with Dr Imran Farooq murder case investigation.

"I am abdicating my responsibility as the Quaid-e-Tehreek. I am transferring my powers to MQM Coordination Committee", said he.

Imran Khan to take oath from his Nuisance, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq


Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf Chairman Imran Khan will take oath as member of National Assembly from his Nuisance and Traditional Opponent, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, who has defeated Imran Khan in Elections many a times.

In a message on social networking website, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman said he would be taking oath in National Assembly on 19th June.

"Speaking on the budget the same day" Khan added.

The PTI Chairman could not take oath on 1st June along with other members of the National Assembly owing to his ailment.

On 7th May, as the Election Campaign touched its peak, Khan fell off an unsafe 15-metre-high forklift during a rally in Lahore, suffering serious injuries to his spinal chord.

Later, Khan, spent almost a month at a Charity Hosptial, the Shaukat Khannum Memoral Hospital, recovering from his injuries.

Khan then arrived in Islamabad on 13th June after doctors discharged him from the hospital and cleared him for travelling.
